David Ward

David Ward is Director of Facilities and Capital Planning for City Center (130 West 56 St, 10019), and as such is in charge of both physical plant operations and capital project management. His affiliation with City Center makes him a little unusual for this group, as much of his career has been with performing arts facilities rather than museums. Prior to the eight years spent at City Center, he was Director of Facilities for Snug Harbor Cultural Center on Staten Island, an eclectic collection of small arts institutions and gardens on a 28 acre campus. Before Snug Harbor, he was Director of Operations for the Chicago Symphony. He holds a M. F. A. degree from the Yale School of Drama in Theater Design and Technology.
