Kala Harinarayanan
Kala is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at the American Museum of Natural History and has worked at
the Museum since August 2002. Her main role is to prevent injury and illness to the Museum staff, volunteers and public.
Before working at the Museum, she consulted in the safety and health field within manufacturing, hospitals and municipalities
in the NYC metro area. She obtained an B.S. in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
