Barbara Roberts
	 Barbara Roberts has worked as a conservator since 1969. She trained at the London College of Furniture and interned 
at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London before joining the staff there. She emigrated to the USA in 1979 and has worked 
at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, in private practice and at the Frick Collection. She divides 
her time between New York, Washington DC and Northwest Connecticut. She has had a particular interest in Emergency Planning, 
Mitigation, Response and Recovery since the age of seven and is actively engaged in training programs, working to assist in 
the training of Civil Affairs personnel in the US armed forces and within NATO. She has worked with a number of natural
